VRV System Installation and Industrial Ventilation Applications

VRV Installation Project and Ventilation Infrastructure

The VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) system installation project carried out at Filoumar's production and storage facilities was realized as a full-cycle implementation covering preliminary survey, heat-load calculation, pipe-route planning, equipment procurement and commissioning. The multi-story, large-floor-plan facility structure made a design approach that maximizes the advantages of a central VRV system essential.

In the industrial ventilation applications, both fresh-air supply and exhaust-air management were configured in a balanced manner. The humidity, dust and heat load in the work areas were effectively brought under control with high-flow fan units, filtered air-intake grilles and zonal exhaust ducts. In addition, smoke-extraction dampers were integrated with the system for fire emergency mode.

A properly sized and professionally commissioned VRV system can operate for many years with high COP values, reducing energy expenses by up to 30% compared with conventional split systems.

The periodic maintenance program initiated after the installation was completed covers refrigerant pressure-temperature checks, outdoor-unit condenser fin cleaning, indoor-unit filter maintenance and central control panel software updates. Thanks to this systematic maintenance approach, the facility's climate-control infrastructure continues to operate at high efficiency without any breakdown.
