Electrostatic-Filter Extractor Installation and Air Conditioning Applications

Restaurant Air Quality Management – Filtration and Climate Control

An electrostatic-filter extractor system that provides an effective solution against the high grease and odor load was supplied and fully installed in the kitchen and dining areas of Boğa Steakhaus. With far higher filtration efficiency than conventional mechanical filters, the electrostatic technology captures submicron-level grease particles, smoke droplets and odor compounds at over 95% efficiency, keeping the indoor air consistently clean and fresh for guests.

The extractor system's duct connections suited to a high-volume airflow and its frequency-converter (VFD) fan design allow the capacity to be adjusted automatically according to operating hours. This feature both increases energy efficiency and enables operation at a low noise level during night-time hours.

Electrostatic filtration technology extends hood-flue cleaning intervals in restaurant operations, minimizes odor complaints emanating outside the building and facilitates compliance with local-authority environmental regulations.

The sale and installation of air conditioning units for the dining and service areas were also completed successfully. Concealed-type indoor units in keeping with the restaurant's aesthetic interior were chosen; the positioning of the high-wall and cassette-type air conditioners was planned with a balance of technical performance and visual integrity in mind.
