Medical HVAC Maintenance Contract and VRF System Overhaul
Precision Climate Control in Medical Imaging Environments
The comprehensive maintenance contract signed with CenterMed Imaging Center covers the climate-control systems of all medical areas, notably the MRI (magnetic resonance), CT (computed tomography) and digital X-ray rooms. Imaging devices are equipment that generate high heat and require precise temperature conditions; for this reason, the fault-free operation of the air conditioning systems within the defined parameters directly affects diagnostic accuracy.
Within the maintenance program, air conditioner repairs, filter and heating-cooling coil cleaning, refrigerant pressure checks and air conditioning automation system calibration are carried out. In addition, the sale and installation of brand-new products were also provided, enabling the center's aging units to be replaced with modern, energy-efficient models.
In healthcare facilities, an HVAC fault is not merely a comfort issue; it can cause imaging-device shutdowns and serious revenue losses from cancelled patient appointments. Preventive maintenance eliminates this risk.
The comprehensive overhaul of the VRF air conditioning systems both increased energy efficiency and raised the center's climate-control capacity to adapt to expanded usage areas. Under the contract, all technical interventions are recorded and an annual system-health report is prepared.
